about

From my debut album until now, I've had the pleasure of meeting a lot of people. The bad thing is that I barely have the time to communicate with those people because I'm so occupied with family or working on my own releases. "Yesterday Everyday" is about maturing and realizing that certain people just aren't the people you need around you 24/7 in order to live right. I've learned that there are only a handful of people that I can consider my friends outside of music. I've known Derek (Dminor) for years but this is our first chance to collab and the Nicolay production was his type of music. Yesterday Everyday is hands down the most laid back song on this release but the concept and message was something I wanted to include.
