"Rise" is a track where I wanted to show everyone that regardless of the tribulations, I am grateful for every opportunity that I have had from performing all over the US to being featured on True Notes Vol.1 and MTV2. Working with Nicolay is always a great experience and he always impresses with his final mixes. I had this beat for almost 2 years and never quite knew exactly what to do with it until I played it for my boy Seven who demanded me to write a song to it

Ugly heroes is one of my favorite groups of all time. For me Verbal Kent's voice is just euphoric, and then you have Red Pill on top of that?! It's amazing but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Their talent only shines through so well because of Apollo here and I love it. I listen to the album nonstop and it inspires me when i write my own shit.
